Some lryics to aid my procrastination

Tomorrows coming round like a hair-pin curve in the road
Shes got a run in her stocking and shes missing the heel of her shoe
Got up this morning rolled out of bed
I spilled a diet coke
Called my mother
Said, hi. what I meant to say was:
why is your life a joke?
Then I went down to that ugly bar and
I clicked my heels three times just like you said
And I climbed that road to your empty house
The anticipation was a turn-on...but you let me down
cause I stood on that empty street alone
I said, Im ready for my close-up now, mr. demille.
I waited for the light but it never shone
Well I wonder what you do with that expensive piece of land
That overlooks a billion years of history (I have a sneaking suspicion)
You will never understand
Hey maybe Ill see you down by the rocky & bullwinkle
And we can talk to that charlatan psychic
And she can paint a prettier picture of your future.

cause that day in my life...
That day in my life...
I dreamt tomorrow had a prettier face
I dreamt tomorrow would have better things to say
Than, you look like shit, whats your problem, bitch?
Youre legs feel like sandpaper, you cant do anything right.
cause that day never should have taken place
cause this day in my life still cannot explain
Why I listened in the first place
To you

Oh yeah, something else...

I hope one day you call up your father
And you have the guts to tell him how he hurt you
And he made you hurt another
cause it makes me sad.

This makes me happy.

Could you stab that knife a little deeper, sir?

Bryce did some stalker bullshit, and had installed a "pack logger" on the network, and read my AIM conversations.

I have a week to get my stuff, myself, and my dog out of the apartment. I think I'm going to have to end up getting rid of my dog. If anyone in the Austin area wants a super sweet Border Collie mix, let me know.

I'm going to be packing all day tomorrow, and then getting a storage shed and renting a truck at some point this weekend. Meanwhile, I'll likely be sleeping on the floor at Jenn and Sean's.

It makes me sick to think of my privacy being invaded like that. I would never, EVER do that to him.

Sorry if I don't respond to comments or emails for a while. Know that I read them, and appreciate them, I just have a lot going on right now, and I'm in no state to email back.

Robin, if you could let my SP know what's going on, and that I haven't forgotten or given up on her, I would appreciate it greatly.

Please send good thoughts my way, guys. The is easily the most difficult thing I have ever been through, and I'm feeling very alone right now.

Bryce and I broke up last night. My internet activities will be limited until I can afford to move out on my own.

Also, I got a part-time job at Vulcan Video. If you live in Austin, come by and say hello (I'm at the Lake Creek, aka "way the hell north" location).

Good night, sweet prince...

Vonnegut spoke truth to American power and encouraged others to do the same. And he did it with an uncanny, gentle smile. He was fearless and funny, in the vein of Mark Twain, and among a long line of satirists, who help us see the world anew and remind us that nothing is as serious as life. And as a writer, his influence not only came from his world view but from his style as a collagist. He had a way of putting the pieces together.
From The Kansas City Star.

Personal stuff later.

Coming up next...

  • I will tell y'all about (and share pictures of) the package the wonderful Kimberly sent me (Thanks!!)

  • I will tell y'all about my trip to the courthouse tomorrow, to contest a ticket I received last June.

  • I would say I would tell y'all about my job search, but it's not going very well. Anyone know any job openings in Austin?

  • I will try to remember to post pictures of my sock and a half. This is the closest to a matching pair I have ever knit. (Note: I collect sock yarn, and have many unmatching socks. I'm trying to break out of second sock syndrome)
