I'm sitting in my photoshop class, which is BORING cause I'm way ahead of the rest of the class, and I know how to do the simple things she's teaching. So I changed my blog. It's not perfect, but I like it. If anyone knows how to improve on the code I would apppreciate the help. Coding escapes me these days, I just can't think of how to do it. When I had a blog on melodramatic, I used to get paid to redesign the melos for other people, and I changed mine every week or two, but now I just don't know how to code.

By the way, Secret Pal, don't worry about commenting or emailing me too much, I love talking with people.

I start training for the Shift Leader position Monday, and I'll be back at my old store, 31st and Harvard, for two weeks. I decided that when I move, I will try to transfer, but take a two week (or so) break. It'll be nice to have that. When I visit over Spring Break (hopefully for a whole week, we'll see how work is), we'll be looking at apartments and I'll be checking out Blockbusters and talking to Store Managers.

I am officially going to be promoted. The new SM has someone in training right now, and when he gets done, she's sending me for training. He and I will basically be doing the same job, so he needs to finish training first so the SM has someone to work in GameRush while I'm at the training store.

I'm moving to Austin in May instead of June or July, it looks like. Four more months and my crazy kitty and I will be there with him and his crazy kitty. Oh, the hilarity that will ensue.

Classes are pretty sweet so far. My Photoshop class is going to be EASY since I already know how to do most everything she's going to be covering, and my film class...well, we go to class once a week and watch movies. There are papers and stuff due, but that matters a little less, hehe.

I apologize for not being able to update frequently. I now have dial-up so I have been exploring other avenues of entertainment. Examples: trying daily to get the old NES to work, buying "new" games for the Genesis, dusting off the Gamecube, playing old RPGs on the Playstation One (any suggestions for a good Playstation RPG?). Yes, those are the only console systems I have, mostly because I'm poor. I really want a PS2, and we have a used one at work, but Bryce has one, so when I move to Austin, we'd have two. We're already going to have to deal with two Gamecubes. What a deliemma.

I've been working my butt off since I moved back home. I am now the only Game Rush employee at our store, we have no store manager, and Blockbuster just downsized the district manager position. Our ASM(assistant store manager) drives in from Stillwater EVERY day, one of our SLs(shift leader - lowest level of management) has a payroll issue going on and hasn't been coming in to work, and the other SL is looking for a new job. I hope they promote me. They should.

I enrolled for a couple of classes at TCC - Photoshop and The Art of Film. should be interesting.
